Avec Aimant Si Passion, Thérèse Henry dévoile un nouveau projet sous son nom, où la bassiste se révèle également chanteuse et compositrice. Entre jazz, musiques caribéennes, influences afro et rythmes latins, elle développe un répertoire personnel, mélodique et profondément rythmique, nourri par son parcours auprès de nombreux artistes de la scène jazz et créole. Pour cette nouvelle aventure, elle s’entoure de Thierry Vaton au piano, Cédric Baud à la guitare et Fabrice Thompson aux percussions. Un quartet où la voix, la basse et les rythmes se mêlent dans une musique libre, chaleureuse et généreuse.

With Aimant Si Passion, Thérèse Henry unveils a new project under her own name, in which the bassist also reveals herself to be a singer and songwriter. Blending jazz, Caribbean music, Afro influences and Latin rhythms, she has developed a personal repertoire that is melodic and deeply rhythmic, shaped by her experience working with numerous artists from the jazz and Creole scenes. For this new venture, she is joined by Thierry Vaton on piano, Cédric Baud on guitar and Fabrice Thompson on percussion. A quartet in which vocals, bass and rhythms blend in music that is free-flowing, warm and generous.
