Thierry Péala et Vérioca Lherm explorent depuis vingt ans un territoire musical où se rencontrent jazz vocal et musiques brésiliennes, portés par le goût du rythme, de l’improvisation et le plaisir du jeu.
Pour célébrer les 20 ans de leur duo, ils revisitent les temps forts de leur répertoire, entre compositions personnelles et morceaux de quelques grandes figures de la musique brésilienne : Tania Maria, Edu Lobo, Joyce Moreno…
Pour cette soirée exceptionnelle, ils seront entourés du percussionniste Edmundo Carneiro, compagnon de route historique de Tania Maria, et accueilleront pour la première fois le tromboniste brésilien Roberto de Oliveira, disciple du légendaire Raul de Souza.
Un concert anniversaire généreux et vivant, entre jazz, samba, improvisation et rythmes du Brésil.

For the past twenty years, Thierry Péala and Vérioca Lherm have been exploring a musical landscape where vocal jazz and Brazilian music converge, driven by a love of rhythm, improvisation and the joy of making music.
To celebrate their duo’s 20th anniversary, they revisit the highlights of their repertoire, ranging from their own compositions to pieces by some of the great figures of Brazilian music: Tania Maria, Edu Lobo, Joyce Moreno…
For this exceptional evening, they will be joined by percussionist Edmundo Carneiro, a long-standing collaborator of Tania Maria, and will welcome, for the first time, Brazilian trombonist Roberto de Oliveira, a disciple of the legendary Raul de Souza.
A generous and lively anniversary concert, blending jazz, samba, improvisation and Brazilian rhythms.
