Une de ces rencontres dont les musiciens de jazz sont friands : le guitariste Vinicius Gomes et le contrebassiste François Moutin se produisent régulièrement ensemble dans divers contextes sur la scène new-yorkaise. À chaque fois, leur complicité naturelle et intense est palpable. Tiens, ils sont en Europe au même moment en avril ! Saisissant l’occasion, ils font appel au batteur Louis Moutin pour les rejoindre dans cette aventure. Une performance impromptue par trois improvisateurs chevronnés, promettant une intensité émotionnelle riche et une énergie explosive. 

Né à São Paulo et installé à New York, le guitariste et compositeur Vinicius Gomes explore le dialogue entre le jazz moderne et la musique brésilienne, magnifiquement mis en lumière dans ses quatre albums en tant que leader : « Resiliência » (2017), « Changes » (2020), « Home » (2022) et « Boundless Species » (2026). Son prochain album solo, en collaboration avec Toninho Horta et John Patitucci, est prévu pour 2026. Il se produit régulièrement sur les scènes internationales, notamment au Carnegie Hall (New York), au Lincoln Center (New York), au Kennedy Center (Washington), au Smalls (New York), à la Jazz Gallery (New York), ainsi que dans des festivals tels que le Newport Jazz Festival, le Winter Jazz Festival (New York), le Vienna Jazz Festival (Autriche), et bien d’autres..

One of those encounters that jazz musicians are so fond of: guitarist Vinicius Gomes and double bassist François Moutin regularly perform together in various contexts on the New York scene. Each time, their natural and intense complicity is palpable. Well, they're in Europe at the same time in April! Seizing the opportunity, they called on drummer Louis Moutin to join them in this adventure. An impromptu performance by three seasoned improvisers, promising rich emotional intensity and explosive energy.

Born in São Paulo and based in New York, guitarist and composer Vinicius Gomes explores the dialogue between modern jazz and Brazilian music, beautifully highlighted in his four albums as leader: 'Resiliência' (2017), 'Changes' (2020), 'Home' (2022) and 'Boundless Species' (2026). His next solo album, in collaboration with Toninho Horta and John Patitucci, is scheduled for release in 2026. He performs regularly on international stages, including Carnegie Hall (New York), Lincoln Center (New York), the Kennedy Center (Washington), Smalls (New York) and the Jazz Gallery (New York), as well as at festivals such as the Newport Jazz Festival, the Winter Jazz Festival (New York), the Vienna Jazz Festival (Austria) and many others.
