“Tu viens on chante?” is an invitation to join one of the improvised music circles I'm putting together from spring 2025 in Montreuil or Romainville.

What is an improvised music circle? It's a workshop in musical creation, involving the body and voice, during which rhythmic and polyphonic sharing, body percussion, guided and free improvisations, individual and collective, will gently lead us towards co-improvisation. It's also a joyful and beautiful experience of human connection.

Who is it for? It's open to everyone, no matter what their level. Musicians and singers can practice their rhythm and their ear; coaches can observe a method nourished by the circlesong and bodymusic worlds; beginners are welcome and so are children, accompanied by their parents.

Where's the event? At Le Pilier, 7 rue Denis Couturier in Montreuil, a few minutes from the Croix de Chavaux metro station. We advise you to bring comfortable clothing and hydration.

How much does it cost? A fair price is recommended, adaptable to your conscience and your means.

My name is Cécile Philippin, I'm a composer, pianist and singer. Trained in classical harmony and then jazz (Iacp), I have composed for stage, television and film. I organize improvised music circles to facilitate human connection and spread the joyful, transformative pedagogy of the Brazilian Musica do Circulo Institute.
