Join us in celebrating the Advent through emblematic choir works! In Benjamin Britten’s "Ceremony of Carols", our voices will intertwine with the harp - in movements alternatively solemn, festive and contemplative. We will also explore the harmonic complexity and the meditative rythm of Arvo Pärt’s "Sieben Magnificat-Antiphonen". Finally, we will immerse ourselves into the mystical nature of the season by interpreting John Rutter’s "Hymn to the Creator of Light".

Vier samen met ons de adventstijd met drie iconische werken uit het koorrepertoire! In Benjamin Brittens "Ceremony of Carols" zullen onze stemmen samensmelten met de harp in delen die afwisselend plechtig, feestelijk en contemplatief zijn. We zullen ook de harmonische complexiteit en het meditatieve ritme van Arvo Pärts "Sieben Magnificat-Antiphonen" verkennen. Ten slotte zullen we de mystieke dimensie van deze tijd oproepen met de uitvoering van John Rutters "Hymn to the Creator of Light".

Venez célébrer l’Avent avec nous au travers de trois œuvres emblématiques du répertoire choral! Dans "Ceremony of Carols" de Benjamin Britten, nos voix s’entremêleront à celles de la harpe au fil de mouvements tour à tour solennels, festifs et contemplatifs. Nous explorerons également la complexité harmonique et le rythme méditatif des "Sieben Magnificat-Antiphonen" d’Arvo Pärt. Enfin, nous évoquerons la dimension mystique de cette période en interprétant "Hymn to the Creator of Light" de John Rutter.
