Forget the resolutions. Forget the pressure to make the most of every minute.

 

YOOO is six days at the end of the year to move your body, eat well, discover new things, meet great people; and simply enjoy being somewhere beautiful.

 

There’s yoga with Chloé, healthy and delicious food with Carine, creative and sensory experiences with Cris and Gwen, walks through the garrigue, massages, sound baths, long lunches and evenings that don’t need to end too early.

 

And plenty of time in between to do exactly what you feel like doing.

 

MOVE, CHILL, YOOO

 

Mornings begin with yoga in Uma Nua’s sound studio or, weather permitting, among the ancient ruins of the Castelas.

Then comes a light brunch.

After that? It’s up to you.

Head out for a walk through the garrigue. Enjoy a 30 minute massage with Gwen. Join Carine in the kitchen. Try your hand at Chinese ink painting with Cris. Take a sound bath.

 

Or stay exactly where you are.

 

There’s no timetable to stick to and no pressure to join every activity. Some things are planned, others happen along the way.

You make the week your own.

 

MAKE YOURSELF AT HOME

 

For YOOO, Uma Nua House is entirely yours.

A beautifully restored former village school turned into a warm, contemporary home, with comfortable bedrooms, iconic vintage furniture, a fireplace, sofas made for lingering, a large kitchen and plenty of spaces to gather (or disappear into for a while.)

 

There’s a yoga and sound studio, hiking trails right outside the door, and the village and surrounding countryside waiting to be explored.

 

Read a book. Take a nap. Listen to music. Have a coffee. Stay in your pyjamas. Cook something together. Put the world to rights around the table.

Or do absolutely nothing.

 

NEW YEAR, TOGETHER

 

And then there’s New Year’s Eve.

We’ll decorate the house together, cook, share a long dinner, open a bottle, laugh, dance if we feel like it; and welcome the new year together, in the most relaxed way possible.

 

No dress code. No big plans. Just good food, good company and a beautiful house in the French countryside.
