Avec The Spirit of 3, Christophe Dal Sasso en collaboration avec la saxophoniste/chanteuse américaine Shekinah Rodz, nous amène là où ne l’attendait pas, quoi que le compositeur insatiable ne s’égare jamais trop loin de ses amours premières, le jazz et le répertoire classique.
Riche de ses écritures passées pour des big band, des chœurs ou des orchestrations symphoniques, il signe là un répertoire aussi profond que festif, au croisement des rythmes méditerranéens, africains et indiens.
