Sunday February 5th, let's discover the most famous French region in the world: CHAMPAGNE, renowned for its sparkling wine production of the same name!
1st stop:
The beautiful city of Reims with its superb cathedral where most of the Kings of France were crowned! 25 were crowned there between 1027 and 1825, notably Louis XIV, known as the Sun King in 1654.
The cathedral is one of the major achievements of Gothic art in France, both for its architecture and for its statuary, which includes 2,303 statues. It has been listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1991.
2nd stop:
The famous Avenue du Champagne in Épernay, where you will discover Champagne Houses and mansions, such as Moët & Chandon, Perrier-Jouët, Boizel, de Venoge, Vranken, Pol Roger, Mercier and G.H. Martel...
Recognized as a "Remarkable Site of Taste", this label elevates the Avenue du Champagne to the rank of national heritage. As part of the "Coteaux, Maisons et Caves de Champagne" it is also listed on the UNESCO World Heritage List in the category "Living evolving cultural landscape"!
3rd stop:
To end in style,
visit a champagne cellar where it will be possible to do tastings and buy bottles of champagne at producer prices!

1:45 p.m. - 4:15 p.m. Discovery of the famous Avenue du Champagne in Epernay
4:30 - 6:00 p.m. Visit of the vineyards and discovery of one of the most renowned champagne production houses and the production sites from the reception of the grapes to the bottling of the champagne.
The price of this visit: tour of the production sites with explanations by a specialist with 2 glasses of champagne will be 6€, payable on the bus.
You will also have the possibility to buy bottles at preferential prices.
6:15 p.m.: Departure of the bus to Paris (arrival at Paris Gare de Lyon around 8:30 p.m.)
