Based in Lille, Espace Impair is a trio performing original compositions that blend jazz, classical music, pop influences and elements of traditional music.
Their unusual line-up—piano, flute and cello—creates a distinctive, dreamlike soundscape that occasionally recalls the music of Henri Texier or Jan Garbarek.
The trio has already earned impressive recognition, winning the Jazz en Nord Competition in 2022, receiving the Audience Award at the Avignon Jazz Competition, and reaching the finals of the prestigious Jazz à Vienne Competition.

Our patron Ivan Paduart—who needs no introduction—has chosen to celebrate his 60th birthday at Open-Music, making this year's Fête de la Musique even more special.
He will first perform a solo set, before joining the musicians of Espace Impair for an improvised jam session.

De deuren openen om 19.00 uur. Het diner wordt geserveerd om 19.15 uur. Bezoekers met een ticket Concert zonder diner zijn welkom vanaf 20.00 uur. Het concert begint om 20.30 uur.
De meeste concerten bestaan uit twee sets, met een pauze aan de bar tussen beide sets. De uren kunnen licht afwijken. Bij een belangrijke wijziging worden alle ticketkopers hiervan per e-mail op de hoogte gebracht.

Open-Music Jazz Club is located on the main square of Comines (Belgium), with a large free public car park nearby. An ATM is available less than 100 metres from the venue.
