Great Accumulation of Vajrasattva Mantras Retreat

Gomde Pyrénées is delighted to invite practitioners to join us onsite for a great accumulation of Vajrasattva mantras in coordination with the pre-retreat of the new cohort of the three-year retreat. The retreatants will accumulate 100,000 100-syllable Vajrasattva mantras in the three-year retreat compound, and we wish to make this opportunity available in the Gomde main house to practitioners who feel inspired to do the same.
This is an amazing opportunity to purify an immense amount of obstacles and karma, get a taste of the start of the three-year retreat, and to make an auspicious connection with that retreat. We can gather to practice purification of the karma of ourselves and all sentient beings, and help ensure an excellent beginning for the next retreat.
This unique retreat will be held from May 31 — August 20. Those who wish to participate in the entire three months and to do all sessions would have the opportunity to complete the individual accumulations of 100,000 Vajrasattva mantras.
If you are unable to commit to the entire three-month period, and if we have space available, you are welcome to participate for a shorter period of time to form a connection to the practice. Once your dates have been confirmed by the Gomde team, you can finalize your registration below.
PROGRAM DESCRIPTION
Drubpon Lama Tenzin will be in residence at the three-year retreat, and we will be streaming his teachings to the Gomde main house. Lama-la has asked that all participants commit to do TWO formal sessions per day of Vajrasattva accumulation.
The morning group practice session will be the regular Gomde daily practice of Treasury of Blessings, Concise Daily Practice, and White Sur.
The afternoon group session will be a 3 hour and 15 minute session of Vajrasattva Tsok (Sangtik Dorsem). We will also practice the Narak Kong Shak confession practice during this session.

7:00 Morning Group Practice: Buddha Shakyamuni, Concise Daily Practice, Sang & White Sur

9:00 Teaching session with Lama Tenzin Streamed to the Gomde Shrine Room (not every day —this will be announced).
12:00 Lunch and Dharma service jobs
14:00-17:15 Afternoon Group Practice: Vajrasattva Tsok and Narak Kong Shak main shrine room
17:30 Dinner
18:30-20:00 Room session Vajrasattva Individual accumulation
21.00: Sleeping practice and bedtime
PREREQUISITES:

Sangtik Dorsem empowerment, the gateway into the profound sadhana of Vajrasattva.

Participants should also have received the Lung (oral reading transmission) of the profound confession and purification practice, the Narak Kong Shak, Emptying the Hells from Their Very Depths.
ONLINE PARTICIPATION
We are happy to be able to offer this retreat online as well!
Participants will receive a Zoom link to the teaching and practice sessions in an information email that will be sent out close to May 31st, to the email addresses of all those who've registered for the online retreat below. The teaching sessions will be recorded for those who are unable to attend live - although Drubpon Lama Tenzin encourages everyone to join live whenever possible. The practice sessions will be live streamed only and no recordings of those will be offered.
If you decide to become an online retreatant for these three months, Lama Tenzin has asked that each online participant make the following commitments:

Take part in the group practices for at least 7 days during the 3 month period.

Recite the Vajrasattva practice individually at least 7 days during the 3 month period

Pledge to recite a specific number of Vajrasattva mantras during these three months.

Join the retreat WhatsApp group where we will post answers to any questions you may have.
