Un coup d’œil sur l’agenda du groupe (qui emprunte son nom à son leader) et on s’aperçoit du fait qu’il est sollicité un peu partout en France, dans toutes sortes de clubs et de festivals pour partager un blues sous influences de ZZ Top, Muddy Waters, Junior Welles, JL Walker,..  il y en a pour tous les goûts. Son dernier opus Mean Blues élaboré durant le confinement contient de nombreux titres originaux qui parlent des problèmes de notre temps, maltraitances, destruction de la planète,….. Kaz Hawkins is a singer-songwriter from Belfast, Northern Ireland, although she has since moved to France where she is signed to the famous Dixie Frog label.
 
We won't be denied if we write here that she is currently the most beautiful voice of the female blues! Inspired by her idol Etta James, Kaz Hawkins is gradually writing a very personal work that speaks of her past suffering and also of her commitments to mental health. Empathy is her leitmotiv and you can feel it permanently in her songs or in her interviews. A moving voice between blues and soul, of a great lady, fragile and strong at the same time, a unique moment not to be missed in the intimacy of the Open Music club!

Organisation of the concert
 
30 seats and 50 standing places on the ground floor, and 20 seats on the mezzanine. Seating is free. Doors will open at 7pm. The concert will start at 8.30 pm. Generally, the concert is configured in 2 sets with a bar break after the first. Some sandwiches are available. Times may vary slightly. In case of important changes, an e-mail is sent to all bookings.

Practical information
 
The Club is accessible to people with reduced mobility. Preferential PMR places can be reserved. The Club is located on the Place de Comines, with its large free car park. Cash dispensers are located less than 100 m away. For any other special request, please contact us by e-mail.
