Outer Tara Retreat: The Essence of the Two Accumulations
The Essence of the Two Accumulations belongs to the Tara's Triple Excellence terma hidden by Padmasambhava and later revealed by Chokgyur Lingpa. It belongs to the New Treasures of Chokgyur Lingpa (Chokling Tersar).
The practice of this sadhana is said to be extremely powerful for gathering positive conditions for the sake of complete realization as well as the fulfillment of worldly wishes.
The retreat is open to everyone, especially those who are currently practicing, or wishing to begin practicing Part One of the Third Excellence of Tara’s Triple Excellence. The majority of our retreat time will be spent engaged in the practice of the sadhana. During the retreat, we will be chanting the Praises to the Twenty-One Taras within the context of a powerful visualization practice.
Within the Nyingma system, this Outer Tara Sadhana belongs to the category of Kriya Tantra. Therefore, this retreat will observe Kriya practices. The outer conduct associated with this practice thereby emphasizes dietary restrictions (vegetarian, no eggs, onions or garlic) and cleanliness. It is also said that when we do this practice we should try to wear cotton and refrain from wearing animal products.
ACCOMMODATION DURING RETREAT
To allow more practitioners this precious retreat, we will be converting some rooms in Gomde to double rooms. Single rooms and huts will be available for participants who will stay for the full time.
During group sessions we will practice together in the shrine room. It will also be available for all participants who choose to practice their individual sessions there.
You are very welcome to camp on our land either in one of our tents or in your own tent, but we will need you to register for that here as well. Our tent camping also has dry toilets and shower facilities.

CANCELLATION POLICY
It takes a lot of effort and resources to plan a retreat. Therefore if you cancel less than 30 days to the start of the seminar we regret that we cannot refund your fees unless we find someone to take your place.

TRANSPORT
When planning your trip please bear in mind that Gomde is remote and offering a lift means that Gomde volunteers needs to drive 3 hours for the pickup in Perpignan. For this reason we have planned 1 group pick-up and drop-off.
We will arrange transport
* from Perpignan to Gomde on 1st of October at 18.00
* from Gomde to Perpignan on 20th of October at 09.00
The exact pick-up times might change +/- 1 hour to suit all the people best.

We ask that you purchase a transport ticket if you will need a ride to Gomde from Perpignan. Please purchase it at least 1 week in advance.
For other arrival or departure times, you will probably need to make your own arrangements with public transport or taxis in Barcelona or Perpignan. We appreciate your understanding of our remote location. There are many different options for bus and train travel from Barcelona to Perpignan (Check Flixbus, BlablaBus, trainline.com).
