Lama Tenzin Sangpo will lead the retreat in the practise of Vajrasattva meditation, enabling us to gather the conditions and the qualities for increased awareness, and to purify the mind of obscurations. Whilst Vajrasattva is our support for purification practises, he embodies all buddha families and is the indestructible holder of awareness within the dissolution of all dual references.
Sascha Alexander Urschitz will lead the retreat in the practise of QiGong. The content and basis of the QiGong sessions will focus on Nei Dan Training. This practise unfolds a process of inner alchemy in which we may experience transformation and refinement. This training unites the practises of personal cultivation and practises which have their focus on healing the body and mind in accordance with the laws of (human) nature. These practises will include: ShaoLin QiGong 8 (silk) brocade, opening exercises, training methods, breath coordination and breath control, meditative Qi control and point to point method to activate the body’s self-healing powers, group Shaolin cleansing exercise.
Lama Tenzin Sangpo teaches meditation around the world in Chökyi Nyima Rinpoche’s dharma centers. Before he began his teaching tours, Lama Tenzin was the chant leader and one of the most senior monks in the Ka-Nying Shedrub Ling monastery in Nepal. Lama also completed the traditional three-year retreat.
Sascha Alexander Urschitz first came into contact with Taiji and QiGong for medical reasons, over 20 years ago. He soon realized that training on a daily basis in such practises not only reduced the physical and mental difficulties that he had been experiencing, but they also improved his mental state. This intrigued him to such an extant that he began to delve deeper into the different QiGong forms and TaiQi styles.
Several years later in 2004, Sascha met one of his great teachers – ShiFu ShiDeLon, a master of the Chinese Shaolin Temple. ShiFu ShiDeLon taught him the form of Ba Dua Jin and Chen style, the aspects of NeiDan, the training method of the NeiGung and the form of qi healing maintained in the ShaoLin temple. After four unthinkably intense years, in which dozens of seminars and hundreds of QiHealings were implemented, Sascha received the authorization both from his teacher and from the Shaolin temple to teach the practises that he has since been teaching every week for 13 years.
In search for further progress in the wish to realize higher methods of QiGong, and to gain understanding of the contents on a more advanced level, Sascha met H.H. Chokling Rinpoche and H.E. Chökyi Nyima Rinpoche. These two great masters helped him to refine his understanding and to discover a mental and spiritual basis for an inner method of approach.
Translation
Lama Tenzin's teachings will be translated into English. Sascha - Alexander Urschitz will teach in German and there will be translation into English.
Accommodation and meals
Gomde Pyrenees offers single room and shared accommodation. The rooms are quite simple, but comfortable and clean. Pillows and blankets will be provided. If you plan to attend, please make sure to register very quickly, since there are only a limited amount of beds available.
Single room accomodation within Gomde house is already fully booked for this retreat, there is still shared room accomodation available. If you are not willing to share but wish to reserve single room accomodation in the very charming village of La Bastide situated 2 km away from Gomde Pyrenees, please contact us and we will explore the options to accomodate your request, you may e-mail us at: hello@gomde.fr
We will serve three vegeterian meals daily and will also offer an afternoon tea break. A cook will spoil us with simple, delicious vegetarian food. If you have any food allergy or some special needs, please inform us, so we can try to make the necessary arrangements.

Prices and Payment
The fee includes all meals, accommodation and the practicalities of running the retreat. Gomde Pyrenees is working hard to keep the cost for the retreat low, because we want to make this retreat affordable for all. The accommodation and meals are included for the period from the evening of the 21st until the morning departure on 29th.
The retreat fees are: 480€ for single rooms at Gomde or in the village, including meals and teachings. Shared room accomodation at Gomde or in the village, or tipi accomodation at Gomde is 360€, including meals and teachings.
The price is based on the costs it takes to fly our teachers and translators over and host people for the retreat. It also is based on the idea of giving a small support for Gomde development works. Taking this into account we have tried to make the price as affordable as possible but if you really wish to participate and only thing keeping you away is financial concerns, please contact us and we will do our best to make it work. Important note on offerings
Lama Tenzin, Alexander Urschitz and the translator do not receive payment for the teachings. Gomde makes a small offering to them at the end of programs, if you have the financial resources and have appreciated the teachings, we would encourage you to make a personal donation to them. Please note there are no ATM/banking possibilities at Gomde or in the nearby vicinity. Please ensure that you have sufficient cash with you on arrival.
Transport to and from Perpignan
The closest bigger city to Gomde Pyrenees is Perpignan. There is an airport with flights from Ryanair and Air France. There is also a train station with trains from Barcelona, Paris, Toulouse, Girona and other places.
From Perpignan to Gomde, the only really viable option is a car. Gomde can help organise pick-ups, but our ability to do so is limited, so please do not wait until the last minute to organize your transportation. Pickup in Perpignan costs 20 Euros per car and is often done by a very kind neighbour of Gomde Please understand that we may ask you to wait in Perpignan until a group assembles to avoid multiple trips for our driver. Please send us a message in advance of your trip if you will be needing a pickup.
The drive from Perpignan to Gomde takes 1hr and 15 mins on very windy narrow roads. If you are prone to car sickness please prepare yourself in whatever way works best for you!

Retreat helpers needed
We need a couple of extra retreat helpers in order for this retreat to run smoothly. As a helper you will stay free of charge at Gomde during the retreat, and can attend at least one session a day. As Milarepa said, the yogi in retreat and the one serving him will attain enlightenment at the same time. Therefore, please do not underestimate the benefits of helping and supporting those doing sincere and authentic practice. Financial sustainability of the Dharma Center
Having gone through extensive renovations, Gomde is well on its way to become the center that Rinpoche envisioned when he chose this magnificent location. Eleven new rooms, five huts and two teepees were built; new French balconies were installed in each room; the lakhang was renovated (wooden floor insulation, large windows) and the center is now ready to host long term retreats.
To accomplish all this work, however, we needed to take out a loan of 120,000 Euros. This loan does not cover what is needed to meet Gomde’s daily running costs or the renovation work remaining to bring us into compliance with health and safety codes needed for the long term retreats and larger programs. In order to sustain this beautiful place for our sangha to host long retreats we need your support!

Vajrasattva steht für die Qualitäten des „Halter des Gewahrseins“ sowie

sammeln zu lernen, um das Gewahrsein zu erwirken sowie den Geist von
