Sami Yaffa is a Finnish musician, whose main instrument is the bass. He has provided the low end for bands such as Pelle Miljoona Oy, Hanoi Rocks, Jetboy, Demolition 23, Joan Jett & The Blackhearts, New York Dolls and The Hellacopters.

Yaffa has been in Hanoi Rocks lead singer Michael Monroe’s band since the beginning of 2010

In the fall of 2014, the television series Sami Yaffa - Sound Tracker debuted on the Finnish National Television, YLE. The show has been shown on Netflix, Amazon Prime and in many countries around the world.

In the show, Yaffa toured the world and got to know the musical styles and musicians of different cultures in 18 countries. The series won the best music program Golden Venla (equivalent of the Emmy’s in Finland) twice in 2014 and 2015 and has produced three seasons so far.
