Seven Ages: du Brit-rock made in Paris

Le quatuor Seven Ages, originaire de Paris, propose une plongée dans un univers musical profondément rock, inspiré par les sonorités britanniques électriques et fortement rythmées. Arctic Monkeys et Queens of the Stone Age sont des références qui permettent de mettre en lumière l’étendue d’un genre musical coloré. 

En mêlant les styles allant des tendances « British pop » accompagné d'envolées vocales et mélodiques, en passant par des riffs puissants hérités du Stoner Rock à la guitare, Seven Ages offre à son public des compositions uniques et nettement nuancées. L’univers du groupe, plutôt sombre mais toutefois contrasté, plonge l’auditeur au cœur des dystopies modernes, dont la quête du bonheur est placée au centre de l’attention, bien qu’il soit imaginé comme presque inaccessible.

Among their references, the Arctic Monkeys and Queens of the Stone Age shed light on the broadness of their musical palette, mixing genres ranging from British pop all the way to Stoner rock; soaring melodic vocals against a backdrop of powerful guitar riffs. The world of Seven Ages is a dark one: the listener is reeled into modern dystopias, where the yearning for happiness is front and centre, although always out of reach. « Quit telling yourself it’s a trick.
